First Glimpse

Apparently 60% unpacked is good enough by male standards, but maybe when you come visit in a year we'll clear the floor of boxes. There are 4 groceries within biking distance, including a community-owned co-op that sells only organic and locally grown foods. From our front door we can see a baseball field, the police station, the civic center, and Jake & Jeff's art school. Most roads have bike lanes. People are friendly, and there are a lot of dogs. That's about the extent of our neighborhood knowledge at this point.

As far as settling in, we all seem to adjust at different rates. Rachel & Jeff went to a yoga class, and the boys met some nice people at the art school, a bar, and the climbing gym. Other than that, we've spent much of our time hunting for beds, making trips to Target, and playing with our new wok. We'll check back later with stories and photos.
