Hare Mai, Summer!

It's officially summer now, complete with hotness and lemonade and bugs. In fact, it's already so summer-ific that we're giving the "ugh, it's too hot to move!" excuse for lying on the couch rather than doing stuff. Still, we've managed to pull off a few adventures of late.
Three weekends ago we journeyed to Squaw Lake, a small, unadvertised mountain lake in the nearby Applegate Valley. After half an hour on a dirt road, we were rewarded with a flat tire that took another hour to replace. Jake was an energetic problem-solver. Overall, exciting.
Then we rode bikes. There's a flat dirt path around the lake, limiting liability and maximizing fun.
And then we jumped in. It was cold. Thank you for asking.

This is Jeff. He's still alive, and has long hair. He got a new job doing manual labor at a wildnerness resort sort of place. In this photo, he is driving over his cell phone to destroy it.
Too many photos. Next adventure in new post.

Why was Jeff destroying his cell phone? The hair is interesting - looks like he has adopted the local customs!
